The research and development team at Otokar created the ARMA II 8×8 Wheeled Armored Vehicle with consideration for asymmetrical threats that are commonly encountered in conflicts across various geographies, as well as traditional combat conditions. ARMA II provides the highest level of protection against ballistics, mines, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in its category globally, in addition to its exceptional terrain capability. ARMA II, which has a carrying capacity of 40 tons and a power output of 720 horsepower, permits the integration of heavy weapon systems up to 120mm caliber in addition to a larger carrying capacity and additional protection features. The steering system in ARMA II possesses the capability to regulate all axles; thus, every wheel is steerable.
