A fresh video was released by the Excalibur Army showcasing its Patriot II 4×4 protected mobility vehicle. H Cegielski-Pozna SA and Tatra Defense Vehicles worked in tandem to facilitate the development of the Patriot II. An enhanced variant of the Patriot 4×4 Medium Armoured Tactical Multi-Mission Vehicle, which was initially unveiled at MSPO 2017 under the designation ‘Husar 4×4’, it made its initial public appearance at IDET 2019. PATRIOT is a versatile tactical vehicle that can be manufactured in various configurations to accommodate different missions, including chemical medevac, command and staff, and general military reconnaissance. Produced in 2018, the first iteration of PATRIOT vehicles was upgraded into the PATRIOT II. Among the many new features that have been added is an elongated cabin that provides additional space for personnel and equipment.
Although other vehicle configurations are conceivable, the 4×4 Protected Mobility Vehicle is a protected mobility vehicle that can carry eight personnel, including the commander, driver, and six dismounts, according to the manufacturer. The system is constructed using the Tatra Force 4×4 chassis, which consists of an air-suspended independent pivoting half-axles and a central backbone tube. This configuration protects the chassis from excessive deformation stresses and enhances tire-to-ground contact. The vehicle is equipped with a 4×4 chassis that incorporates the TATRA Concept, a distinctive design featuring a central backbone tube and swinging half-axles. This chassis offers exceptional driving capabilities, particularly in off-road environments, and maintains a consistent payload capacity irrespective of the operating conditions (paved roads or off-road conditions). The air suspension system enables the operator to dynamically adjust the maximum height by 100 mm or increase the clearance by 70 mm.

The PATRIOT vehicles are medium-class armored wheeled combat vehicles that feature gu𝚗 attachments on remote-controlled weapon stations. These stations are capable of accommodating automatic grenаde launchers, anti-tank weapon systems, and 7.62, 12.7, or 14.5 mm calibre machine gu𝚗s. Mission packages for versatile platform vehicles are modifiable in accordance with customer specifications. The NBC filtration system and A/C provide the personnel with an exceptional level of safety and comfort. In addition, both the engine and cabin are outfitted with fire suppression and self-cooling systems, respectively. Based on a proven solution known as the “Kitted Hull Concept,” the crew’s armored hull has been designed and tested to withstand mine threats equivalent to Level 2a/2b or 3a/3b (optional level) and ballistic threats equivalent to Level 2, 3, or 4.
